Keeper users can directly share passwords, files, and other information “vault to vault” with other Keeper users all shared content is secured with PKI encryption.
Only encrypted ciphertext is stored on Keeper’s servers, and Keeper has no way of decrypting the data its customers store in their digital vaults, nor can it retrieve their master passwords. Customer vaults are secured using an AES-256 key, which is derived from the user’s master password using PBKDF2. Keeper utilizes a zero-knowledge security architecture, where encryption of user passwords and other data is performed locally on the user’s device. Users secure their Keeper vaults with a “master password.” Users can further protect their Keeper vaults via a variety of multi-factor authentication methods, including Google Authenticator, Duo Security, FIDO U2F, and biometrics. The mobile app, desktop app, and browser extension can generate random passwords for new website and app accounts and fill in existing apps and accounts automatically. It also offers a desktop browser extension for Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Brave. Keeper is available as both a mobile app for Android and iOS, as well as a desktop application for Windows, Linux, and MacOS. Perform sample recording to a different SD card (you will only be able to record to an HDX2 Recovery SD Card if you repartition and reformat it first).ĥ. Remove HDX2 Recovery SD Card and power HDX2 system back onĤ. Wait until the system shuts down (approx 3mins).When shutdown, only a red “Power” light will be illuminated.ģ. The system will scroll the “Memory Used” lights continuously.Ģ. Insert HDX2 Recovery SD Card into HDX2 then apply power. Do Not Format the SD card after you have made it!ġ. If Windows tells you the SD card needs to be formated, ignore it. When done you will see a message in a separate window saying “Write Complete”. Click “Write” to start writing the image to your SD CardĨ.
Select the HDX2 Recovery Image File in the software under “Image File”Ħ. Insert an SD Card (>1GB) and select this in the software under “Device”ĥ.

Install Win32DiskImager, then launch itĤ. Download the HDX2 Recovery Image File and Win32 Disk Imager software.Ģ. You will need to burn this image onto an SD card using Win32DiskImager software, which is downloadable here: Win 32 Disk Imagerġ. This file is a disk image that will return your HDX2 system to a stable firmware version.
